Welcome to New Jalpaiguri, You are greeted on arrival at Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra International Airport/Railway station by The Namaste India trip representative and transfer you to Kalimpong. Kalimpong is well known for its many educational institutions Kalimpong has become an important tourist destination owing to its temperate climate and proximity to popular tourist locations in the region. Kalimpong is famous for its flower market, especially the wide array of orchids. Flower nurseries involved in exporting Himalayan grown flower bulbs, tubers, and rhizomes contribute to the economy of Kalimpong. It also houses several Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist scriptures. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later on in the day, we take you to Deolo hill, Science Centre, Hanuman Statue, and Durga Mandir, the Overnight stay is at Kalimpong.
After early breakfast, we take you for a full day excursion to some of the beautiful spots in North Bengal, we take you to Lava and Rishop which are famous for its natural beauty and it offers a magnificent view of the Himalayan range on a clear day. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
After breakfast, we transfer you to Gangtok the bustling, friendly hill station of Sikkim. On arrival at Gangtok, check in to the hotel. Later get outside to see Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Rumtek Monastery, Banjhakri Falls, Tashi View Point, etc. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Early in the morning, we take you on an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, Baba Harbhajan Temple—a temple made and revered by soldiers to the owner of a famous Indian Army officer named Captain Baba Harbhajan Singh—and Nathu La Pass (a mountain pass in the Himalayas which connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above mean sea level, and forms a part of the ancient Silk Road). Overnight stay at Gangtok. Note: For visiting the above places you are required to get a special permit from the Police through the Tourism Department. Nathu La Pass: Visit depends on permits and road conditions. The pass is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays and in the winter.
After breakfast, we transfer you to Pelling. Pelling gives a spectacular view of Mount Khangchendzonga, the Guardian Deity of Sikkim, and the world’s third-highest mountain along with other sister mountains bowing before the Godly figure in reverence. Pelling is an ideal getaway for tourists as its vicinity has numerous waterfalls, soft trek routes, villages, and a soothing atmosphere for all discerning. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, we take you to the Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake, and Sangay Waterfall. Overnight stay at Pelling.
After breakfast, we transfer you to Darjeeling. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is meant for relaxation or you can go for a joy train ride in Toy Train (optional). In the evening, you can visit the local market for buying something special about the place. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Very early in the morning (around 3:00 am), we take you to Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of sunrise over Khangchendzonga (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later after breakfast, visit famous spots in Darjeeling such as HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, Dhirdham temple, Ropeway, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Japanese temple. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Here the tour ends with happy memories as we drop you at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey.
