Drive to Joshimath (276 km / 8-9 hrs), visiting the sacred confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, and Nandprayag en route. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and visit Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math. Joshimath, perched above the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga, is one of the four 'Maths' established by Adi Shankaracharya. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Govindghat, then proceed to Pulna Village by shared jeep (3 km).
